Oooooh What a Floozie!

I love buying new underwear especially sets as I have OCD when my underwear doesn't match, the colour has to at least match in some way!

I really love this Floozie by Frost French pale blue seaside balcony bra (£14.00 at Debenhams), its a really cute summery print, and I love the coral ribbon that runs through the top and straps and the matching orangey/coral starfish that cover the cups.

The blue seaside hipster briefs (£5.95) are really pretty and girly, I know they are hardly no 'no VPL' knickers but there's a time for girly and flouncy and a time for sensible and practical and these definitely aren't those, they are covered in ruffles, lace, ribbon and has a cute little bow and enamel shell in the center.

Does anyone else love snazzy underwear?

Pretty Pictures of the Week #2

This week has been lovely and sunny, such a change from the last few.  I'm not one of these crazy British people that strips off when the sun comes out, you wont see me in short short's and a strappy top as soon as the sun shows it's rays , but I do like to embrace the lovely weather.

  • Strawberries are my favourite fruit, and these English ones were scrummy, so good to snack on,
  • I had a clear out of my wardrobe, I love this silk Zara dress, it is so floaty and summery but it is now sadly too big so off to the charity shop it went,
  • The third picture is a clematis that is growing up an obelisk in the garden,
  • The fourth is a bet I won with my step-father, I just love winning.

Hope everyone else had a lovely week. x

Tie Love at Regent Tailoring

During my little trip to Regent Tailoring this afternoon I purchased a beautiful rather quirky tie as a prezzie.

The handmade silk tie, using English woven silk has a unique design especially for Regent using their signature butterfly as the eyes of the skull and crossbones.  It was a toss up between red, navy and black but in the end navy won,  the tie sells for £55.00 and is available both in their shop in Salisbury or limited colours online.

I absolutely love the detailing on this tie, like the tip lining and keeper loop being in a contrasting grey butterflies silk (which also comes in a tie) all these little things make me love this tie more and more.

Regent Tailoring is fabulous if you are shopping for the men folk in your life (it also does gorgeous women's things), does anyone else enjoy shopping for men, or is it just me?
Regent's Blog, is also a good read.

30 Day Snap #3

I love this little dog, it sits outside the Regent store in Salisbury, it used to have an Argentinian Polo belt wrapped around its neck, I'm not sure how long it has been belt free as I haven't been in there in a while, but today I was on a mission for men's prezzies so to Regent's I popped.

30 Day Snap #2

Sundays are family days in our house, and when the weather is lovely we are normally all in the garden doing something, whether it is playing badminton, gardening, sunbathing (responsibly of course) or something silly like playing army with my step-brothers, but whatever we are doing our lovely city sanctuary is the perfect place on a sunny day.  We used to have one of these roses in the house I was born in and now have another three houses later, its a Zéphirine Drouhin and is a beaut, I love roses they are defiantly my second favorite flower after the lovely Peony.

30 Day Snap #1

Day one of the 30 Day Snap challenge!  Due to today's gorgeous weather I went for a little walk in the sun.  When the weather is lovely the gardens fill with families enjoying the sun while the children paddle in the shallow water, and today was no different.  Bob's Ices has been there for as long as I can remember and sells all the classic lollies and ice creams.

Has anyone else been enjoying the lovely weather today?
