Let's Get Our Legs Out!

According to Grazia we don't want to get our pins out too soon, the best time to bare them is the weekend before the late-May bank holiday apparently 'National No Tights Day'!  Grazia's reasoning is upkeep, as soon as they are out that summer prepping and preening has to begin along with the pedicure.  My pedicure of choice for the summer months is the Jessica GELeration Nails during the winter months I paint my own nails, but a girls got to have good feet during the summer.

Grazia recommends pretty ankle socks to cover un-pedicured feet and protect from blisters, I still can't make my mind up about this trend I don't know whether I love it or loath it, how about you? Are your pins ready for summer?  S.x

A Week in Pretty Pictures

The last week has been a lovely week full of exciting little projects, a little trip and some beauty goodness.

#5 Family gardening, a family that gardens together stays together!!!  My mother is on a mission to spruce everything up for the Summer, so everyone was involved this weekend, my jobs were Geranium planting and helping my little brothers move these massive flints amazingly my nails stayed in tact.

Yummy Shower Gel

Ok maybe not the most interesting thing in the world, but I love this stuff and as I finished my last bottle this morning I thought I would take a quick pic of this nice new one before it jumps onto my shower shelf, I'm a bit OCD about showing products that have been used.

I was introduced to this shower gel by a friend at Uni a couple of years ago, I had never used any Imperial Leather products before but I always ended up jumping into the shower after her and the whole bathroom used to smell divine, so I grabbed myself a bottle and ever since it has been one of my favourite shower gels.  I love the Jasmine scent and how the gel is really thick and nourishing for my skin, it also has a skin friendly pH so is kind to my skin which can be quite picky.  All in all its a pretty fab product and at the tiny price of 89p at Superdrug as there is currently £1.00 off, even at £1.89 I think its a fab price. Sexy Smooth Pins For Summer

Now I know not everyone can have Kate Moss worthy legs, I know I defiantly don't, but even if we can't have her lovely legs then we can all have gorgeous super smooth pins for those Summer days we are all hoping for.

For years I shaved my legs but recently they have thrown a massive paddy like a toddle in a supermarket, so I have had to seek an alternative, waxing is out of the question I am far to much of a wimp, so I went and bought some Veet, that awful smelling hair removal cream that works wonders.  I use the Sensitive Skin (£7.55) with Aloe Vera and Vitamin E as I have always suffered with sensitive skin.  I do however still keep some razors on hand as there are those days that you don't have time to wait 5-10 mins for the cream to work its magic and you just have to shave!  At the moment I'm using Bic's Soleil Lady which I bought from Poundland, I'm a classy lady I know, (but I can't resist a bargain)!

After my legs are shiny and smooth I like to give them a bit of TLC with some moisturiser, my moisturiser of choice is Palmer's Cocoa Butter Formula (£4.85), it is goodness in a bottle, a vitamin E enriched formula that keeps my skin soft and silky smooth, it would be one of my desert island products.  Now lets all get ready for summer.  S.x

Evening Walk

It was such a lovely evening that my mother and I decided to go for a brisk 4k walk around the Cathedral Close, I managed to get two snaps on the move, one of the Cathedral it's self and one of the Gate. I hope you have all had a lovely day and enjoyed the nice weather. S.x

Bioderma Photoderm AR SPF 50+

As you may or may not already know I am a bit of a suncream nut, especially when it comes to protection for my face, I love makeup products that have SPF in them, so while I was getting my Bioderma Sensibio H20 - Micelle Solution I spotted this tinted suncream, although with the weather being as awful as it is I've hardly been outside let alone needed to slap on the factor 50!  The thing that drew me to this was the fact that it was slightly tinted so even if I was to wear it just on its own it would give me a bit of coverage.  When we do actually get some sun I shall review it properly and let you know what it's like on my face, as of yet I have only rubbed some onto the back of my hand.
