The first thing I have really been enjoying is the Real Techniques Expert Face Brush (£9.99 Boots) I am all over this brush it literally puts my Ruby and Millie Foundation brush to shame. It applies my foundation flawlessly, and makes it blend into my skin so seamlessly, so I don't get lines or streaks but still get great coverage. I have used it with both foundation and tinted moisturiser and it has worked amazingly with both, I really love this brush and would love to try more of them.
Mavala is my nail varnish crush, so when my nails recently freaked out and began to flake and split I turned to Mavala Scientifique Nail Hardener, instantly penetrating and quickly hardening the nail, it allows soft flaking nails to become strong and healthy again.
My third favourite of the month is Nivea Soft Tube 75ml (£2.45 Boots) I reviewed the 200ml pot in May so I wont repeat myself, but I have also been enjoying the handy 75ml tube, it's fab for popping in your bag and being able to have it on the go, it's and an absolute must if your like me and suffer with dry skin.
Now this I think has been my love of the month, Barry M Hi-Shine Gel Effect in Prickly Pear (£3.99 Boots), I reviewed it last month and painted all my nails in it and fell in love with its beautiful pastel purple, as I said it's not too pink and it's not too blue. It also stayed on my nails chip free, part of me was expecting there to be some massive fault with it, but as of yet I haven't found one.
The final rather more mundane May favourite is this Head Jog detangle comb (£2.25 BeautyBay), I made a pact with myself recently, to stop ripping my wet hair with my paddle brush after I wash my hair, and after hunting high and low for my old comb I purchased a new one. There's not really much you can say about a comb, but I can definitely see that my hair is better for not dragging a brush through it.
What were you enjoying in May?
Saw your blog being promoted at Sprinkle of Glitter, and I absolutely love it! Been stuck in reading for a while now, amazing :)
