L'Oreal Color Show Fuchsia Fever and Confettis Top Coat // Review

I love Maybelline Color show polishes they come in a gorgeous selection of 'trendy' bright colours which are perfect for summer.  The polishes dry really fast which is a real bonus if your a nail varnish smudger like I am!  I would say they last on average about four days before the chipping sets in, which I think is pretty good for a nail varnish that only costs £3.99.  The colours I have tried have varied slightly in texture and opacity but normally I can get great coverage in two coats.

Maybelline Color Show Neons in Fuchsia Fever (£3.99 Superdrug) is part of the new Maybelline Color Show Neons collection.  Fuchsia Fever which was absolutely impossible to photograph, is a gorgeous purple, it dried with a semi-matte finish which isn't indicated, I never really got into the matte polish trend, so just popped a top coat on the top and all was fine as I really did love the colour.  The polish is rather sheer though and took a good three coats to make opaque, but apart from that I can't fault this polish. 

For a girl who's not really into glitter polishes, I am starting to amass quite a collection!  However I am going to forgive myself when it comes to L'Oreal Color Riche Confetti Top Coat (£3.99 superdrug), unlike a lot of glitter polishes which although fun can leave your walking on the tacky tightrope, Confetti Top Coat is as classy as glitter can get.  The small matte black and white glitter pieces suspended in a clear polish can pretty much be put over any colour, and are very adult friendly I think you could even get away with this at the office if it was applied over a nude nail.  A few coats would give you a more opaque effect while just using two over a brighter polish will give you the bright colour of the polish with the snazzy flecks of the Confetti Top Coat, overall it's one of my favourite glitter polishes and I think definitely the most versatile.    Has anyone else tried either of these?
