I love these Barry M Gelly polishes so when I was in Boots's the other day and saw this gorgeous bright coral pink shade called Grapefruit (£3.99 at Boots) it just had to jump into my basket! It is the perfect pink for summer, especially with a lovely tan! The colour itself seems to change in different lights, from a gorgeous coral to an almost neon pink. The massive selling point of these polishes is their high shine, and grapefruit definitely didn't disappoint, you could of course add a topcoat such as Seche Vite but you would really only need it to prolong wear. It takes two coats to get a nice opaque finish, however I did find this one rather thick and had to redo one nail due to a serious over application of nail varnish, but overall I really liked this polish and think it will be getting a lot of wear. I have already reviewed Prickly Pear, Papaya and Greenberry so if you want to read a little more, hop on over and have a look here Barry M Gelly polishes review.
Has anyone else been painting there nails today?
I love Greenberry, it's my favourite :)
ReplyDeleteSame, I have it at home but haven't used it yet, can't wait. x

It's lovely isn't it. x
DeleteI have this colour too and love it! I used to have seche vite but found out that it has a dangerous chemical called Toulene that causes birth defects and reproductive harm so that's why I don't use it.
ReplyDeleteI used it once, but just didn't get on with it, I really like Essie's good to go. X
