Ingredients:
- One Basil plant
- 50g toasted Pine nuts
- one cup of fresh Parmesan grated
- one clove of Garlic
- half a cup of Olive oil
- one pinch of salt
Tear all the leaves off your basil plant and a few stems, grate your Parmesan and measure your oil and pine nuts then throw everything in a food processor and blitz it, you can then decide whether you want it smooth or slightly chunky but that is all personal preference.
Does anyone else make their own pesto?
Its safer for me to stat well away from the kitchen haha.
