My fathers 60th was last Saturday, so I got all dolled up and ready to party with friends and family (that light shows up some seriously dodgy ankle tan lines from rolled up jeans, and sorry for the selfie a serious fashion post faux pas but it couldn't be helped as there was no one lovely enough to take my picture). My dress was from Quiz and is two years old (a bit of recycling going on), my cardigan is from Monsoon my wedges are New Look, my flip flops are Gandys and my clutch is from Beth Jordan. It was a royal blue and coral affair, my two favourite colours of the moment.
The marquee was very simply decorated with twinkly lights on the roof, spring/summer floral table decorations, while helium balloons were used as table numbers.
I invited three of my best chums from school, to have a girlie evening and a catch up, two of my closest and oldest friends from school didn't know I was writing a blog I have kept it a bit of a secret from friends, so when I told them about my last three months of blogging they wanted a sneaky peak so while the duck was being served they browsed my blog on my phone, I managed to get this snap of them both reading.
Blog reading at dinner! |
Photo booth fun |
My father had a photo booth at the party which went down a storm this crazy snap was my friends and I but there are some seriously crazy pics of all of my cousins and I, but they are a bit too weird to post.
The marquee all lit up after the party |
Has anyone else been to a big party recently?
